The bar chart shows the anticipated sales of silver goods of Meteor Products Ltd and Mark Jones Ltd in the following year and the pie chart compares their market share at the end of the year.
Overall, the sales are expected to increase in both the companies and half of total market share would be held by others.
The sale of silver goods is anticipated to start nearly at 150000 units in the case of Meteor Products Ltd and is expected to grow steadily till August to approximately 500000 units after a slight fall in February. The units remain almost constant at 500000 units till November, before reaching 600000 units by December. Similarly, in the case of Mark Jones Ltd, despite a drastic fall in February from the initial level of 450000 units to around 220000 units, the sale is projected to increase till June to about 400000 units and would remain persistent for the next two months and touch 900000 units by December.
Moving to the market share, it is forecast that half of it would be owned by others, whereas the remaining half would be proportionately divided between Meteor Products Ltd and Mark Jones Ltd at 20 and 30 per cent respectively.
